These general booking/sale conditions apply to all activities of the Clos des Elfes. They are written in French in their original version, which alone is authentic, taking precedence over any other version translated into a foreign language.
Prices:
The prices listed on the Clos des Elfes website are in EUR (€). These are contractual.
These rates include overnight stays, provision of bed and bathroom linen, regular room cleaning, access to the patio, and free parking.
These rates also include breakfast for lodge rentals.
Booking directly on the website “ Clos des Elfes » allows you to benefit from the best price conditions, without commission fees.
Bookings :
The reservation only becomes effective upon receipt of a deposit of 30% of the total rental amount. This is confirmed by the owner.
Payment of this deposit implies acceptance of the general conditions.
The rental agreement is concluded between Clos des Elfes and the person who paid the deposit. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by Clos des Elfes, the rental agreement cannot be made to a third party.
In order for guests who are not of French nationality, according to the decree of August 18, 2015, a police form must be completed upon your arrival.
Arrival – Length of stay – End of stay :
Check-in is between 4 p.m. and midnight using our self-check-in system.
The rental is concluded for a fixed period at the time of booking. The tenant cannot under any circumstances claim a right to remain in the premises at the end of the stay.
Therefore, the end of the stay takes place at the latest at 11 a.m. on the last day in order to offer the best quality of services for future guests.
We can store your luggage for free until 2:00 p.m. on your last day if you still want to enjoy the area.
Settlement of balance, taxes, and other payments :
The balance is payable upon arrival at Clos des Elfes, either in cash or by bank transfer. No credit cards.
Additionally, the tourist tax is a local tax that the tenant must pay to the owner, who then transfers it to the municipality. As of January 1, 2024, it amounts to €1.18 per person per night. This tax will be paid at the same time as the balance.
Purchases of other products during the stay will be paid for upon departure.
Capacity :
The rental agreement is for a specific number of people. Under no circumstances will the rental agreement be called into question if the number of people exceeds the number stipulated in the agreement. Le Clos des Elfes will not be able to accept additional people not previously planned. The cost of the entire planned stay will be due.
Tenants can receive guests at the table d'hôtes only by reserving 24 hours in advance within the limit of available places (19 people).
Compagnons
Our animal friends are not allowed due to damage caused during previous experiences.
Respect for the Clos des Elfes premises :
We welcome you with pleasure and expect mutual respect for our property as well as yours. Here, the key words are CALM, ETHICAL LIVING, and TRUST, both inside and outside the house. Our guests undertake to respect the peaceful nature of the premises and to use them in accordance with their intended purpose. From 11 p.m. onward, we ask that you no longer use the terrace, located under the bedrooms. You may, however, use the other outdoor and indoor spaces and kindly communicate quietly in order to respect other guests and the neighborhood.
You'll easily understand that smoking is not allowed in order to respect the place. This is particularly true due to the vegetation present on site. If this clause is not respected, the cost of cleaning the fabrics will be borne by the tenants. The minimum cost is 100 euros.
Upon your arrival, we will explore the premises together and we invite you to notify us within 24 hours of your arrival of any malfunctions you notice.
Upon your departure, we will go over the room together. The goal is to check that it is in the same condition as when you arrived and also to ensure that none of your personal belongings have been forgotten.
If damage is unfortunately found, a cost of restoring the premises will be charged, at least equal to one night's stay. Guests must be personally insured by a contract that includes damage to third parties, their own property or that of others occurring while on vacation.
Regarding the set of keys provided to you during your stay, we thank you for taking the greatest care of them. In case of loss, the set of keys will be charged €30.
Internet access via WiFi :
Guests have free access to the owner's internet connection without paying any direct compensation. You acknowledge that you will be using the Wi-Fi internet connection provided by Clos des Elfes and regulated by 2ISR during your stay.
Usage Limit: You agree not to use this connection in the future. You may not share or disclose the access codes with anyone. Access is only possible in areas with Wi-Fi coverage.
You hereby declare that you will not use the connection for activities or purposes that are reprehensible, immoral, or that could lead to liability: in particular, to send, receive, or access content that is illegal under French law. In particular, with regard to rules relating to intellectual property and cybercrime. The use of peer-to-peer software is strictly prohibited.
In the event of a dispute or investigation, we may transmit your personal information to the appropriate persons, to which you hereby agree.
Network Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your use of your equipment, or its activities on our network, particularly with regard to other customers.
You accept the risks associated with using a Wi-Fi network and an Internet connection; you are advised to increase the level of protection of your firewall and antivirus.

Personal property :
Our guests' property is their sole responsibility. It is their responsibility to take all necessary safety and protection measures. The owner of Clos des Elfes cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss occurring during their stay. Guests must be personally insured by a contract that includes damage to third parties, their own property, or that of others occurring while on vacation.
No right of withdrawal :
For reservations made by mail, telephone or online, the tenant does not benefit from the withdrawal period, in accordance with article L121-21-8 of the consumer code relating in particular to accommodation services provided on a specific date or at a specific frequency.
Personal data :
The information you enter on our website "Le Clos des Elfes" may be recorded by us. You have the right to access, modify, rectify, and delete the data collected on this site. This is subject to the conditions set out in Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978 (amended) relating to information technology, files, and civil liberties. General Cancellation Conditions
Cancellation / No-show by the customer :
Toute annulation totale ou partielle d’une réservation ou sa modification doit être signifiée par écrit de la part du client. Celle-ci est confirmée par le propriétaire.
L’annulation est gratuite si elle est confirmée plus de 30 jours avant le début du séjour. Si l’annulation est confirmée moins de 15 jours avant le début du séjour l’acompte sera retenu.
Au début du séjour, si le client ne se manifeste pas 2 heures après l’heure d’arrivée prévue sans prévenir l’hôte, le propriétaire se réserve le droit de disposer de ses gîtes. L’acompte reste acquis au propriétaire.
En cas de séjour écourté, le prix correspondant au coût total du séjour reste intégralement acquis au propriétaire. Les éventuelles prestations supplémentaires consommées seront dues au propriétaire au moment du départ.
Special Covid-19 conditions
Cancellation by Clos des Elfes :
If, for reasons beyond its control, Clos des Elfes is unable to accommodate guests in the reserved room(s), the guest will be notified as soon as possible. If possible, we will offer an equivalent rental in another guesthouse in the area at no extra charge.
If the cancellation occurs more than 1 week before the start date of the stay, and if Clos des Elfes does not offer an equivalent rental, the deposit will be refunded.
If the cancellation occurs less than 1 week before the start date of the stay, and if Clos des Elfes does not offer an equivalent rental, the deposit will be immediately refunded and compensation equal to 10% of the deposit amount will be paid to the customer.
